Kona Mountain Coffee originated in 1986.
For coffee to be certified as 100% pure
Kona coffee,
it must be grown within an approximately 3 by 7 mile
area on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Kona Mountain
farm is located in the heart of the Kona
Coffee Belt near the town of Kainaliu. Our estate grown coffee's
reputation comes from our attention to detail—from
hand-picking every bean at the peak of ripeness,
to state-of-the
art milling and storage, to small batch roasting.
Did you know?
In a region where 3 - 5 acre farms
are predominate, our Kona
coffee farm, at
approximately 90
acres, is one of the largest estate coffee farms
in the Kona Coffee Belt. It lies at elevations ranging
from 1600 to 2400 feet above sea level and enjoys
some of the finest deep volcanic soils on the Big
Island.
Planted
in organized rows and spaced twelve feet apart,
our farming and irrigation techniques facilitate
optimum coffee growing and picking. Coffee pickers
enjoy picking
coffee at our farm because the land is level and
grass-covered, unlike many of the neighboring Kona
coffee farms. View more coffee
facts.

coffee farm online, prior to your
